Invite for New KFRA Board Members

Hello Kenilworth Forest Neighbors!

As we get closer to 2026, we are looking to add more new Board members to be voted on at our end of year celebration at the East Asheville Library on December 9 (6:30 to 8:30).  If you’d like to get involved and share your ideas for improving our community, and you’d like to help with planning and decision making to ensure our neighborhood is a friendly, safe place to live, just contact one of the current Board members to express your interest. We’ll need to know if you’re interested by November 20, 2025. The easiest way is by sending an email to kfraboard@gmail.com.

Also, we are looking for volunteers to serve on a committee that will represent the neighborhood during the planning and permitting process for the music venue proposed for Thompson Street on the Swannanoa River. If you’d like to be involved, let a Board member know by November 20, 2025.

Fall 2025 Update

Hello Kenilworth Forest neighbors! 

Now that summer has faded and our colorful Fall has arrived, the KFRA board invites you all to join us in the annual care and maintenance of our neighborhood. We have two essential asks: First, if you have not done so yet, please send in your annual dues payment of $120 to KFRA, 65 Merrimon Ave. #1073, Asheville, NC 28801, or give it to one of the Board members. We are short this year, and we need these funds to contract mowing and tree services for our parks. Our second ask is to please participate in our park cleanup scheduled for November 8th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and also attend our end of year celebration scheduled for December 9th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the East Asheville Library. These are both great ways to care for our environment, get to know neighbors better, and strengthen ties as a community. 

We also want to thank those of you who have already paid your dues. Hope to see you at the park clean up and at our end of the year celebration!
