Newsletter: September 2024
The main focus of the Neighborhood Watch is:
Unknown people coming through our neighborhood that make our residents feel unsafe
Illegal parking that create safety risks to pedestrians, drivers and may impede emergency vehicle access to all residents
Suspicious Persons:
We have established points of contact at Sunrise and Compass Point, which were recently opened on Tunnel Rd and have led to an increase in loitering (and at times trespassing) in and around our neighborhood. At next month’s meeting on October 14th at 6pm we will be joined by Josh Morrow from Sunrise at Judith’s house. Any neighbors who would like to learn more are welcome to attend.
Illegal Parking:
To stop illegal parking in our neighborhood, specifically on White Pine Drive, we are in the process of creating postcards so that neighbors can let people know when there’s a parking issue. This includes contractors — anyone performing a service in our neighborhood should have a permit and orange cones if illegally parked. We are also working on an alternative solution for residents that need guest parking.
If you are not on the Signal app, we encourage you to sign up by scanning the QR code with your phone camera at the bottom of this newsletter. It’s a great way to stay informed and receive updates about our beautiful neighborhood!
You can also visit the neighborhood website periodically — we will continue to post newsletters with “meeting minutes” for everyone to view on a monthly basis.
We welcome all questions, comments, & concerns from everyone in the neighborhood. Our main goal is to keep the neighborhood & everyone in it safe.
