Welcome to Kenilworth Forest.
We encourage you to check back often as we will continue to update the site.

You can help make Kenilworth Forest a great place to live:

Please obey the neighborhood-wide speed limit which is 25mph. We don’t have sidewalks and lots of people walk dogs, run, or bike.

Avoid parking on our narrow roads, especially White Pine Drive. If your car is obstructing traffic, it slows down emergency vehicles and may cause collisions.

Bears love Kenilworth Forest! Learn more about how to live in harmony with our black bears by visiting BearWise.

Our neighborhood uses the Signal App for communications. Signal proved critical in helping us get through the impacts of Hurricane Helene in 2024.

There are a few ways to join our groups. You can tap on the group images here and request to join. You can also send an email to kfraboard@gmail.com and ask for help.

These groups are only for neighbors within our neighborhood (or their loved ones who help out). We periodically review the group members to remove anyone who has left. Nothing in these groups should be considered confidential but we do work to ensure we are only chatting with people in Kenilworth Forest.

The Safety Alerts Signal group is for sharing urgent information that neighbors need to know which could be a safety hazard. Most neighbors leave their notifications on for this group so it should not be overused. Examples include: “Bears in trash at 288 White Pine” or “Traffic hazard at Spring Park Rd.”.

Once an alert has been shared to this group any conversation should move to the KWF Chat group unless more safety alerts are necessary.

The KWF Chat Signal group is for any general conversation with the neighborhood. Chats that start in the Safety Alerts group often move over here. It’s also an excellent place to organize dog play dates at the park, offer things up for free/sale, or share an event going on.
